Industries We Work With
These are the industries we work with most often as a digital marketing agency in Cambridge. Sector experience matters, but not for the reason agencies usually claim. The tactics barely change from industry to industry! What changes is the buying journey and the economics behind it, and that's what decides whether a campaign earns.

About us
Clickscope is a small Cambridge agency for businesses that want senior people on the work and reporting that shows what the marketing actually earned.
FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Do you specialise in one industry, or work across many?
Across many, by design. We work with construction firms, ecommerce brands, law firms, biotech and life sciences companies, estate agents, and hotels and hospitality businesses, among others. The research process is the same whatever the sector: understand the customer, the competition and the numbers, then build from there.
Why does industry experience matter for marketing?
It shortens the learning curve. Knowing how a construction company's enquiries typically move from search to phone call, or how a law firm's clients research before contacting them, means less time spent testing the obvious and more time on what actually moves the needle for that kind of business.
What if my industry isn't one you've listed?
We've still likely worked somewhere adjacent, and a lot of what drives results, clear tracking, a site that converts, campaigns built around how customers actually search, holds regardless of sector. Bring it up on the audit call and we'll tell you honestly if it's a good fit.
Do you have case studies specific to my sector?
Often, yes, particularly in construction, ecommerce, legal and hospitality where we've built up the most experience. Ask on the audit call and we'll show you what's relevant rather than a generic portfolio.
How do you get up to speed quickly on an industry you haven't worked in much?
The same audit process we use everywhere, applied properly: your competitors, your search terms, your existing data. A fresh set of eyes on a market often spots what everyone inside it has stopped noticing, and we've done this enough times across different sectors to know what questions to ask.
Does working in a specialist industry, like biotech or law, cost more?
Not automatically. Pricing depends on the channels and scope, not the sector label. Regulated industries sometimes need more care around what can and can't be claimed in ad copy, which we're used to working within.
Do you understand the compliance side of regulated industries like law or biotech?
We're used to working within advertising rules for regulated sectors and will flag anything that needs sign-off from your side before it goes live. We're not a substitute for your own compliance or legal review, but we won't be the reason something gets you in trouble.
If you work with my competitor, will my business be at a disadvantage?
We don't run directly competing accounts against each other in the same local market. If that's a concern for your industry, raise it on the audit call and we'll be straight with you about who else we work with.
Do you only work with businesses of a certain size within an industry?
No. Within the sectors we work in, we've supported everything from small independent firms to larger established businesses. The audit and strategy scale to what the business actually needs rather than a fixed package.
What's different about marketing construction or ecommerce compared with a generic approach?
Mostly where the customer's attention actually is and how they buy. Construction enquiries tend to be considered and slower moving with a strong local search component, ecommerce is far more immediate and conversion-focused. We build the strategy around that rather than applying the same playbook everywhere.
Can you support multiple parts of my business if we operate across more than one industry?
Yes, that's fairly common. We'll treat each part of the business on its own terms rather than assuming one strategy fits both.
