Specialist SEO and PPC delivery for in-house marketing teams
We work alongside marketing managers and small in-house teams: specialist SEO and PPC delivery, a second opinion on your agency's performance, or cover for the gaps you can't resource internally. Senior people only, judged on revenue, and rolling monthly like everything else we do. Think of us as the extra pair of expert hands you can't quite justify hiring full time!

About us
Clickscope is a small Cambridge agency that in-house marketing teams bring in for senior SEO and PPC delivery, judged on revenue instead of vanity metrics.
Our MISSION
We fix the tracking before your budget moves
We start with your numbers, not vanity metrics. Tracking gets checked and fixed first, so every recommendation after that is made on real data, not opinions.
WHY IN-HOUSE TEAMS CHOOSE US
Specialist delivery that slots in beside your team
01 / How it works
Senior delivery, embedded in your plan
The same senior people who run our own client accounts do the work on your account. No junior hand-off, no long contracts, just 30 days' notice.

A second opinion when you need one
We review what your current agency is doing and tell you plainly what's working and what isn't.

Cover for the gaps you can't resource
Specialist SEO or PPC delivery dropped in exactly where your team is stretched, without a full-time hire.
FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
We already have someone doing marketing, why would we need you?
Because one person can't be an expert in paid media, SEO, tracking, design and copy all at once. Most in-house marketers we work alongside are strong on brand and content but stretched thin on the technical side: campaign structure, conversion tracking, technical SEO. We plug that gap rather than replace what's already working.
Will you work alongside our marketing manager or take the whole thing over?
Whichever suits you. Some clients want us reporting into their marketing manager and picking up specific channels; others want us running the strategy end to end. We're happy either way, and we'll be upfront if we think a particular split isn't going to work.
Can we bring you in for just one channel, like paid ads or SEO?
Yes. You don't need to hand over everything. A lot of in-house teams use us for the parts they don't have the specialism for, paid media and technical SEO being the most common, while keeping content, brand and social in-house.
What happens if our in-house marketer leaves partway through a project?
Nothing stops. Because we run our own tracking and keep our own records of what's been done and why, there's no single point of failure if a team member moves on. We can also help brief and hand over to whoever replaces them.
Do you train our team, or just do the work yourselves?
Both, if that's useful. We've trained staff at over 60 other agencies and businesses, so we're used to explaining what we're doing and why, not just doing it quietly in the background. If you want your team to eventually run something themselves, we'll build towards that.
How do you divide up who's responsible for what?
We agree it upfront and put it in writing, channel by channel, so nobody's guessing whether a task belongs to us or your team. It gets revisited if priorities shift.
Is this cheaper than hiring another in-house marketer?
Often, yes, because you're not paying a full salary, National Insurance and training costs for skills you might only need part of the time. But the honest answer depends on how much work there is. We'll tell you plainly if hiring is the better option for your situation.
What if we only need extra support during busy periods, like a product launch?
That's a normal way to work with us. Packages flex to what you actually need rather than locking you into a fixed monthly scope, so scaling up for a launch and back down afterwards is straightforward.
Will you clash with our existing agency or freelancer?
We shouldn't. We're used to working alongside other suppliers, and we'll be direct with you if we think there's overlap or a gap between what we're doing and what someone else is doing, rather than letting it go unsaid.
Who owns the accounts and data if we stop working together?
You do. Your ad accounts, analytics and tracking stay in your name throughout, so there's nothing to untangle if the arrangement ends or your team structure changes.
How quickly can you plug into an existing team?
Most projects are live within 14 days of the strategy being agreed, tracking usually goes in during the first fortnight, and we keep whoever's leading your in-house team updated on what's running and what it's returning from day one.
