Web Design & Development for Newmarket Businesses
Newmarket's local sectors include specialist retail and ecommerce, feed, tack and supplements businesses selling online alongside the equine trade itself. A site that only ranks for generic national terms is doing that trade little good. From our Hills Road office, it's about 25 minutes down the A14 to Newmarket. We scope every build around the decision a buyer, local or overseas, is trying to make, then launch it fast, tracked and editable by your own team.

About us
Clickscope is a small web team on Hills Road that Newmarket businesses use for Webflow and WordPress builds, designed around the enquiry and handed over with tracking already working. As a Cambridge digital marketing agency just 13 miles away, we can be at a Newmarket yard or office for a web design conversation without it being an event.
Our MISSION
Design around the decision, then build it fast and tracked
We start with what a Newmarket visitor is trying to decide, whether that's an owner abroad checking a stud's credentials or a local buyer comparing feed suppliers. From that decision we design the key templates, then launch with redirects, tracking and search reporting already live.

Judged on enquiries, not awards
We track every template from the moment it goes live and judge it purely on the enquiries it generates, not on how impressive it looks in a portfolio.
How we run web design and development for Newmarket businesses
01 / How we work
Architecture before design
Search structure and content planning happen before design starts, so the pages built for equine trade terms actually exist, then key templates are designed and built as reusable components.

You break it first
We run every build through a staging review so you can test it ahead of your customers seeing it, catching problems before launch rather than afterwards.

Live from hour one, and yours to keep
The moment the site launches, redirects, tracking and search reporting are already in place, and your name stays on the hosting, domain and CMS accounts throughout.
Client Results
One Newmarket client, new to Google Ads, turned £25,300 of spend into £891,000 in sales, roughly £35 for every pound spent. That kind of return only happens when the page behind the click actually does its job, whether the visitor arrived from an ad or organic search.

FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Where's the office, and is a meeting possible before the build kicks off?
Our office sits at 9 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1GE, about twenty five minutes from Newmarket via the A14 and A1303. We can scope the project there or come to you.
How much does it cost to have a website built?
Once we've scoped the project we quote a fixed price, as a ten-page marketing site and an ecommerce store demand different amounts of work. The scope, page list and price are all put in writing first.
Does going live mean we're locked into a contract?
No. The build is a fixed-price project. Support afterwards, including updates, backups and conversion improvements, runs rolling monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
Will our Google rankings drop once we relaunch?
Only if it's migrated poorly. We map and redirect every existing URL, keep the pages already pulling in traffic, and monitor Search Console for the month after launch.
Competition here seems light compared to Cambridge. Is a proper website still worth it?
Especially so. With only one agency working generically in this market, a site built around the equine trade's actual search terms has a much clearer run at ranking than in a contested city market.
Which Newmarket sectors do you build sites for?
Specialist retail and ecommerce, horseracing and bloodstock, and hospitality are sectors we build for regularly here, where a buyer often reads the site carefully before making contact.
Do you only build websites for Newmarket businesses?
No. While we're based at 9 Hills Road in Cambridge, our client base spans Suffolk and Cambridgeshire too, including Haverhill, Royston and Huntingdon. Our Cambridge base shapes scoping, not the clients we work with.
Can you take care of the marketing that drives traffic once the site is live?
Yes. Because SEO, tracking and analytics are handled in-house alongside web design, the same team looks after both the site and the campaigns feeding it.
What can we expect in the first 90 days of the project?
We open with discovery on the site's goals, then plan structure and search architecture, design the key templates, build and run a staging review. Six to ten weeks is typical, depending on how quickly content arrives.
How do you know if the new site is delivering results?
We measure enquiries and search performance after the site launches, tracked in Search Console for a month minimum, not by how it looks as a portfolio piece.
Is there really no proper website competition for equine and bloodstock businesses here?
Only one agency covers this market, and generically. Nobody is writing equine-literate site content for the specific trade terms buyers actually type, which leaves a genuinely open field.
