Web Design & Development for Cambourne Businesses
A Cambourne business park firm's site often has to convince a national buyer who will never visit the office. A local trader's site has a different job: converting a resident checking a phone in the evening. We work from Hills Road in Cambridge, about twenty minutes away, and scope every build around the decision the actual visitor is trying to make, not a generic template.

About us
Clickscope is a small web team based in Cambridge, about twenty minutes from Cambourne, building Webflow and WordPress sites for business park firms and local service businesses. As a digital marketing agency in Cambridge, Cambourne is barely 20 minutes from our desks, which makes web design an easy thing to talk through face to face.
Our MISSION
Design around the actual decision, then build it fast and tracked
We start with what a Cambourne visitor is trying to decide, whether that's a national buyer comparing three suppliers or a resident choosing a local trade. From that we design the key templates and launch with tracking live before the first visitor arrives.

Judged on enquiries, not awards
We judge every template by the enquiries it generates once the site is live, with tracking running from day one rather than a judgement based on portfolio appeal.
How we run web design and development for Cambourne businesses
01 / How we work
Architecture before design
Search structure and content planning happen before design starts, so the pages that need to answer a buyer's question actually exist when the site launches.

You break it first
Before anything goes live, every build passes through a staging review so you can test it yourself, which catches the obvious problems ahead of launch.

Live from hour one, and yours to keep
From the first hour the site is live, redirects, tracking and search reporting are already working, and hosting, domain and CMS accounts stay registered in your name.
Client Results
£25,300 of Google Ads spend became £891,000 in sales for a client who had never advertised on the platform before, a return of around £35 for every £1 spent. Numbers like that depend entirely on whether the page taking the click can actually convert once someone arrives on it.

FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Where are you based, and could we meet before the build begins?
Our office is at 9 Hills Road in Cambridge, roughly twenty minutes from Cambourne. Come to us for scoping, or we'll happily travel to you.
How much does a website cost for a Cambourne business?
We quote a fixed price once scoping is done, because a business park consultancy site costs differently to a local trades site. Everything, scope and price, is agreed in writing before design begins.
Do we have to sign a contract once the site is live?
No, there's no lock-in. The build is priced as a fixed project, and any support afterwards runs rolling monthly with 30 days' notice to cancel.
Will a relaunch cost us our current Google rankings?
Only if the migration is handled badly. We map and redirect every existing URL, retain the pages already earning traffic, and monitor Search Console for a month once live.
Our enquiries come in fine but go cold. Can a website fix that?
Partly, with clearer next steps and faster forms, but the bigger fix is usually CRM and follow up rather than the site itself. We'd look at both together.
Which Cambourne sectors do you build sites for?
Professional and B2B services, software and insurance firms on the business park are sectors we build for regularly here, plus local consumer service businesses in the town.
Do you only build websites for Cambourne businesses?
No. We're based in Cambridge and also build for clients in Waterbeach and St Neots. Being close to Cambourne shapes how we scope a build, not who it's for.
After launch, can you also run the marketing that brings traffic to the site?
Yes. SEO, Google Ads and CRM work sit in-house alongside web design, so the site and the campaigns pointing at it can be handled by the same team.
What does the first 90 days of a website project look like?
We start with discovery on what the site needs to achieve, then plan the structure, design the key templates, build it and run a staging review. Most sites take six to ten weeks, depending on content.
How do you tell whether the new site is actually working?
We look at enquiries and search performance after launch, tracked through Search Console for at least a month, rather than judging the site on portfolio looks.
Very few agencies seem to build for Cambourne specifically. Does that make a new site more or less urgent?
More, if anything. With almost no local competitor content to compete against, a properly built site can establish visibility faster than in a busier market.
