Video Production for Cambridge Businesses
Cambridge Science Park and Biomedical Campus employers often need a recruitment film or a product demonstration more than a boardroom showreel. A single shoot day can produce both if it's planned properly. We work from Hills Road and build the shot list around the job the video has to do, whether that's an ad, a sales page or an explainer for a hard-to-describe service. One day of filming should give you a year of usable assets, not one film that only works as a whole.

About us
Clickscope is a small production team on Hills Road that Cambridge businesses use for ad creative, product demonstrations and recruitment film, planned around a single shoot day and cut for wherever it will be watched. And because we're a digital marketing agency based right here in Cambridge, you can be sat in our Hills Road office talking video within the week.
Our MISSION
Plan the shoot around the job, then cut it many ways
We start by agreeing what a Cambridge business needs a film to do, sell on a product page, recruit for a Science Park role, or explain a service that's hard to write about. From there we build a shot list for a master film, ad variants and vertical cuts, and report on whichever measure that job actually calls for.

Judged on the job, not the view count
We judge every film against the purpose it was made for. That means cost per result for an ad, conversion for a product page, or faster-moving deals once it's sent to prospects.
How we run video production for Cambridge businesses
01 / How we work
One shoot, several deliverables
We build the shot list so that a single shoot day delivers a master film, ad variants, vertical social cuts and stills. Crew time and the day itself drive the cost, not how many assets come out of it.

Measured against a defined job
Before we film, we settle whether a piece will be judged on cost per result, product page conversion or faster sales conversations, so decisions later aren't made on a whim.

Everything stays in your name
Handover includes the final edits and subtitle files, plus raw footage if you want it. Usage rights are fully included, with licensed music cleared and named.
Client Results
A client we produced video for grew monthly ad spend of £3,700 into between £130,000 and £190,000 in monthly sales. Accounts at that scale need a steady stream of fresh creative to keep performing. Paid search drove most of that growth, which is why we plan shoots to yield many assets rather than a single film. This was one client's result, not a guaranteed template.

FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Where's your Cambridge office, and do you film there?
We're at 9 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1GE, a short walk from the station and roughly ten minutes from the Biomedical Campus. Most filming takes place at your premises, though you're welcome to visit us to plan a shoot.
What does a video shoot typically cost?
We quote video work per project, with shoot days, crew size and per-deliverable editing time as the main cost drivers. Cutting one shoot day into several ad variants tends to offer the best value, and a full breakdown is shared before anything is booked.
Are we contractually locked in if we book video work?
No, video work is taken on a project by project basis. Should you want a steady supply of ad creative, that runs rolling monthly with 30 days' notice, matching our terms elsewhere.
Is there a guarantee the video will perform once it's running as an ad?
A hold rate can't be promised before a cut has actually run. That's why we agree, before filming, what the job is: cost per result, product page conversion, or faster sales conversations. Without a defined job, a film can't be judged fairly.
Cambridge competitors already spend heavily on agency-produced video. Can we compete?
Often, yes. Outspending a venture-funded competitor on production values is rarely realistic, but a film built around a clear job for a real Cambridge buyer usually beats a bigger budget spent without one.
Which Cambridge sectors do you make video for?
Biotech and life sciences, technology and deep tech, and hotels and hospitality are sectors we know well here. Recruitment film for Science Park and Biomedical Campus employers is often the highest return use of a single shoot day.
Do you only make video for Cambridge businesses?
No, our base is 9 Hills Road in Cambridge, but we film across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Hertfordshire too, including Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Royston. Being local to Cambridge affects our shoot planning, not our client list.
Do you build the landing page the video appears on as well?
Yes. Web design and development sit in-house alongside video production, so if the page holding your product demonstration is losing enquiries, we can fix that at the same time as the film.
What does the first 90 days of a video project actually involve?
First we agree the film's job, then plan a shot list that covers multiple deliverables before filming and editing across two review rounds. Fast social cuts can be ready within days if arranged beforehand.
How can we tell if the video is genuinely working?
It depends where the video sits. As an ad, cost per result and hold rate against the rest of the account. On a product page, conversion rate against visitors who didn't watch. For sales enablement, whether deals close faster once sent.
Our Cambridge competitors use expensive agency video. Can we compete on a smaller budget?
Often, yes. Outspending a venture-funded competitor on production values is rarely realistic, but a film built around a clear buying question for a Cambridge audience usually beats a bigger budget with no defined job.
