Commercial Photography in Huntingdon
A Huntingdon precision engineering firm's technical brochure and a construction contractor's site gallery both need images planned against a specific use, not a mood board. We work from Hills Road, about 30 minutes down the A14, and go through your website templates and printed material before a shoot. That way the shot list already knows which frame needs to survive a factory floor and which needs headline space for a tender document.

About us
Clickscope is a small photography team about 30 minutes from Huntingdon on the A14, shooting product, premises and team images for engineering, defence supply chain and construction businesses. Being a Cambridge digital marketing agency 30 minutes down the A14 means your photography isn't run by someone who's never seen the premises.
Our MISSION
Plan the shot list before the shoot, not after
We go through your website, tender documents and printed material before we book a shoot, so every frame already has a required composition attached. That's how a Huntingdon business ends up with a gallery it uses for years, not a folder opened twice.

Judged on where the image lands
Every shoot is planned against the tender, the listing or the page the image will actually appear on, not a general sense of what looks good.
How we run commercial photography for Huntingdon businesses
01 / How we work
Shot for where it lands
Cut-out product shots for listings, site photography for tenders, and detail shots for the specification questions your customers keep asking, all planned before the shoot rather than worked out afterwards.

A minimum image count, agreed upfront
Instead of a vague large figure, we fix a minimum count of finished images per day based on the shot list, giving you something solid to plan around.

Files are yours, backed up and organised
Delivery comes as an organised gallery of both high resolution masters and web-optimised versions, backed up and held by you with full usage rights.
Client Results
£50,000 of Google Ads spend became £1.52 million in online sales for one ecommerce client once the product imagery matched the offer. A shopper decides from the picture long before reading a word of copy. That was one client's result in one market, but for a Huntingdon tender document, weak photography caps what strong writing can achieve.

FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Would you shoot on our premises in Huntingdon?
Yes, and for factory, site or engineering photography we'd rather be there than work from a brief. We're about 30 minutes away on the A14, and can agree access and safety requirements in advance.
How is photography priced?
We work to a day or half day rate, and editing together with full usage rights is already in that figure rather than added afterwards. Studio hire, models or travel further afield are priced separately.
Is photography something we get locked into contractually?
No. We book each shoot as an individual project rather than a contract, and ongoing photography support rolls monthly with 30 days' notice to stop.
What are we allowed to do with the finished images?
Full commercial rights in perpetuity, covering web, print, advertising and tender documents, with no renewal fee. We keep the right to show the work in our own portfolio, and will waive that if the images are sensitive.
Some of our site is restricted for security reasons. Can you still shoot there?
Usually, yes. We agree access, permits and any restrictions in advance, and are used to photographing capability and process without capturing anything you'd rather keep out of frame.
Which Huntingdon sectors do you photograph most?
Precision engineering and electronics, and construction and trades, are sectors we shoot regularly here. Site and premises photography for engineering firms follows the same planning as any other location.
Do you only photograph Huntingdon businesses?
No, not at all. We're based at 9 Hills Road in Cambridge but travel across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk too, shooting for clients in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket. Base location just shapes the planning, not who we take on.
Can you also design the website or brochure the photography sits on?
Yes. Web design, development and graphic design sit in-house alongside photography, so if the brochure or listing pages need work, we can fix that at the same time as the shoot.
What can we expect during the opening 90 days of working with you on photography?
We start by turning your templates, tender documents and ad formats into a shot list, then sort out access and timing. A gallery of selects arrives one to two weeks later for you to choose from before editing is finalised.
How do you judge whether the photography has been worth it?
By whether the images actually get used, which is why the shot list is built from your real templates and tender formats first. For product work we'd also look at enquiries alongside your wider marketing.
Photographing a working engineering or defence site sounds complicated. How do you manage it?
With a schedule agreed in advance covering access, permits, high-visibility requirements and the safest working window, the same planning we'd use on any construction or industrial shoot.
