Commercial Photography in Cambridge
A Cambridge estate agent's listings, a Biomedical Campus team page and a hotel's booking site all need images planned against a specific use, not a mood board that produces attractive pictures nobody can crop. We work from Hills Road and go through your website templates, ad formats and printed material before a shoot. That way the shot list already knows which frame needs headline space and which needs to survive a square crop.

About us
Clickscope is a small photography team on Hills Road that Cambridge estate agents, hotels and life science businesses use for product, team and premises photography, shot to a brief rather than a mood board. And because we're a digital marketing agency based right here in Cambridge, you can be sat in our Hills Road office talking photography within the week.
Our MISSION
Plan the shot list before the shoot, not after
We go through your website, your ad formats and your printed material before we book a shoot, so every frame in the list already has a required composition attached. That's how a Cambridge business ends up with a gallery it uses for years rather than a folder opened twice.

Judged on where the image lands
Each shoot is planned around the actual listing, advert or page the image will end up on, rather than a loose idea of what looks good.
How we run commercial photography for Cambridge businesses
01 / How we work
Shot for where it lands
Cut-out product shots for listings, lifestyle images for ads, and detail shots for the specification questions your customers keep asking, all planned before the shoot rather than worked out afterwards.

A minimum image count, agreed upfront
We set a minimum number of finished images per day against the shot list, so you have a real figure to plan with instead of a loose promise.

Files are yours, backed up and organised
What's delivered is a well organised gallery, high resolution masters alongside web-optimised versions, backed up and yours with full usage rights.
Client Results
An ecommerce client turned £50,000 of Google Ads spend into £1.52 million in online sales. Shopping and social traffic gets bought on the image before anyone reads the copy, and while photography alone isn't the whole story, weak imagery would have kept that figure much lower.

FAQ
The questions you actually want answered
Where's your Cambridge office, and do you shoot there?
Our office is 9 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1GE, an easy walk from the station and roughly ten minutes from the Biomedical Campus. Shoots usually happen at your premises or in hired studio space, though you're welcome to come and plan one with us.
How is photography priced?
Pricing runs by the day or half day, with editing and full usage rights folded into the fee from the outset. Studio hire, models, props or travel further afield are quoted separately, and only when the brief calls for them.
Do we need to commit to a contract for photography work?
No. Every shoot in Cambridge is booked as its own project, and for teams wanting images refreshed regularly, ongoing support rolls monthly with 30 days' notice.
What rights do we have to use the photos once they're delivered?
Rights are full and commercial, covering web, print, advertising and social, in perpetuity with no renewal fee. We keep only the right to showcase the images in our portfolio, and we'll drop even that for sensitive work.
Our Cambridge competitors use expensive agency photography. Does that put us behind?
Not necessarily. Cambridge buyers read carefully and check claims, and a well-planned shoot that matches a real listing or a real team beats a bigger budget spent on generic stock imagery.
Which Cambridge sectors do you photograph most?
Estate agency and property, hotels and hospitality, and technology and deep tech are sectors we know well here. Premises and team photography for Biomedical Campus and Science Park firms follows the same planning as any other site.
Do you only photograph Cambridge businesses?
No, being based here doesn't limit who we work with. From 9 Hills Road we also travel into Suffolk and Essex, covering clients in Newmarket, Saffron Walden and Haverhill. Location just shapes how a shoot gets planned.
Do you handle the website design as well as the photography?
Yes, web design and development are handled in-house too, so if the pages carrying the images need fixing, that can happen alongside the shoot.
How does the first 90 days of a photography project typically unfold?
Your templates and ad formats get turned into a shot list first, with access and timing agreed after that. Within one to two weeks you'll have a selection gallery to pick favourites from ahead of final editing.
What's the measure of whether the photography has done its job?
Usage is the real measure, which is why the shot list is grounded in your actual templates and formats from the start. For product and ecommerce clients we'd also track conversion and sales alongside the wider marketing picture.
Cambridge buyers are meant to be sceptical. Does that affect the photography?
It affects what we shoot. Buyers here check claims carefully, so team photography taken in your actual environment reads as more credible than staged portraits against a plain backdrop.
